Alt+DT

Alt+DT is led by Jessica Elwart-Konkel and Dani Bryant, drama therapists in private practice who share an office in Midtown Manhattan. Both are Registered Drama Therapists and NADTA Board Certified Trainers, credentialed to teach coursework and supervise students on the Alternative Training route. They both specialize in eating disorders and body liberation.

Longtime collaborators, they share a love of group work and an unapologetic fat politic. Both playwrights and theater makers, they've devised theater together and are currently developing a new group process called Chosen Family Therapy. As artists, therapists and educators, they deeply value authenticity, playfulness & curiosity.
